Special Education Consultant
With 17 years of experience as a special education teacher in inclusive, middle and high school settings, professional development coach, and pre-service professor, I offer solutions that are researched based and proven effective in many different classroom settings and across all content areas. I offer support with instructional strategies for the integrated, general education classroom, as well as program development for special education and student support services at the school level.
The strategies and tools that I promote have been proven to increase student engagement and raise academic achievement for all students.

I provide professional development on how to choose and implement researched based strategies for reaching students in integrated and diverse classrooms for both general and special education teachers.

I also provide professional development specifically for special education teachers on caseload management, effective student interventions, writing IEP’s, and so much more. Learn from someone who has been in the field for 17 years.

I work with department heads and principals to build and develop quality special education programs that go beyond compliance, to become programs of excellence where all students thrive.

I provide support to parents in navigating the special education process, especially at the middle and high school levels. I support with creating transition goals for post high school plans.
